Climbing
Climbing is all about movement, concentration and trust. At Melchsee-Frutt, we offer professionally led taster courses that provide a safe and solid introduction to the sport of climbing – no prior experience required.
Regular taster sessions (individuals)
During the summer season, we run two regular taster courses. Under expert guidance, you’ll gain an insight into the world of climbing – with a focus on safety, technique and equipment.
Contents
- Introduction to equipment and knots
- Basics of climbing and belaying techniques
- Climbing exclusively on top rope
Schedule & Delivery
- Course time: 9.30 am–12.00 pm
- Age: for children aged 10 and over
- Participants: at least 5 people
- Location: Starts and finishes at Melchsee-Frutt
- Equipment: included, except for climbing shoes (climbing is also possible without climbing shoes)
- Price: CHF 59.00
